Job description

​The client is hiring an Account Executive to sell their sustainable products and services. They will be part of a dynamic team responsible for sales and account management of subscription services. Based in Sydney, the role involves interacting with clients, developing new business, and creating sales opportunities primarily in Australia.

The successful candidate should have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for new business development and energy markets. They will join a young, stimulating, and collaborative environment with potential for growth and international expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities by understanding company products and consumer needs.

  • Drive business growth through lead generation, relationship building, and expanding the customer base.

  • Maximize account value by cross-selling and up-selling to existing customers.

  • Present proposals, negotiate offers, and secure finalized deals on behalf of the client.

  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for streamlined sales processes.

  • Ensure excellent customer experience through effective account management.

Desirable attributes:

  • Sales and business development experience, especially in energy-related subscriptions.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

  • Exposure to energy economics and power markets.

  • Fluency in a major European language (in addition to English).
