Our client is a fast growing, entrepreneurial investment manager based in the City of London. They own and manage 509MW of energy assets across the solar, hydro, wind, reserve power and storage sectors. A 31 strong dedicated team, provide asset management services to the energy portfolio, spanning accounting and finance, data, operations and engineering.

Role

Reporting to the Portfolio Director you will have the operative responsibility for the performance both financially and operationally, of a hydroelectric portfolio of installations. Our assets are currently situated in the larger part of Sweden and Norway, but we actively search for further growth in northern Europe.

Key tasks

· Technical DD´s new assets

· Transaction support and onboarding new assets

· Reinvestment planning and prioritization

· Lead Technical Council

· Contract management (O&M) with financial and non-financial KPI monitoring

· Refurbishment Projects and procurement governance

· Site visits and stakeholder management

· Providing support and advice to the wider team, and generally supporting team objectives

Job specific requirements

· Previous experience in the hydro sector, predominantly operational

· Experienced technical background

· A proactive and driven individual balanced with an enthusiastic and positive energy

· The broader understanding of the power value chain

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

· Self-going, target orientated, with strong negotiation skills necessary to achieve results

· Immaculate attention to detail; ability to switch fluidly between the big picture and detail

· Excellent English language skill

· Based in Sweden at our Stockholm office or home based

· Travelling to the assets and the company different locations is a natural part of the job
