Our client is a fast growing, entrepreneurial investment manager based in the City of London. They own and manage 509MW of energy assets across the solar, hydro, wind, reserve power and storage sectors. A 31 strong dedicated team, provide asset management services to the energy portfolio, spanning accounting and finance, data, operations and engineering.

Role

Reporting to the Portfolio Director you will focus on the commercial performance through the implementation and ongoing monitoring of revenue optimisation short-and long term. You will have oversight of dispatch operations and connected strategies. Our assets are currently situated in the larger part of Sweden and Norway, but we actively search for further growth in northern Europe. As we are growing you are expected to support the Investment team with your commercial knowledge prior and during transactions. On-boarding new assets to the family will from time to time take a large portion of your day-to-day work.

Key tasks

· Develop and monitor strategies for

o re-location of energy volumes from one period to another for the best possible “fuel” utilization within the limits of water regulation possibilities

o the optimization of the production considering available market opportunities

o Safe operations, compliance and crisis management

· Contract management for Dispatch and Production planning

· Develop and monitor relevant financial and non-financial KPI´s

· Leading digitalization initiatives optimizing our generation returns

· Transaction support and onboarding new assets

· Providing support and advice to the wider team, and generally supporting team objectives

Job specific requirements

· Previous market facing,

· Experienced in PPA, Production optimization, Dispatching, Water regulations

· A proactive and driven individual balanced with an enthusiastic and positive energy

· The broader understanding of the power value chain

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

· Self-going and target orientated.

· Immaculate attention to detail; ability to switch fluidly between the big picture and detail

· Excellent English language skills

· Based in Sweden at our Stockholm office or home based

· Travelling to the assets and the company different locations is a natural part of the job
