​Our client, a leading Consultancy in renewable energy solutions, is looking for a Head of Offshore Wind to join their team based out of one of their offices in the UK.

The Head of Offshore Wind will be responsible for leading and growing their global offshore wind business to become a major player in the offshore wind industry. You will be responsible for both strategic global business management and technical advisory and team leadership.

Some key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and focus to develop and grow the global offshore wind business.

• Work to a global growth target and develop regional strategies for the development of services.

• Work with internal teams to identify strengths and skills gaps.

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the offshore wind business to become significant players in the global offshore industry.

• Work with Project Managers to manage and schedule internal and external resources to ensure project deliverables stay on time, on target and on budget.

• Oversee communication plans and related project status reports as the project director. Facilitate and lead regular status meetings with internal project team, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  

If you have:

• A track record of experience in Offshore wind, preferably with consultancy/developers experience

• University degree in a technical subject relevant to the renewable energy industry

• Experience in analysing Independent Engineering/Lenders Technical Advisory, Technical Advisory report sections.

• Strong team player who has the ability to work in a global matrixed organisation.
