Job title: Head of European Sales

Location: Germany (Remote)

TGRC is looking for a Head of European Sales to work for a tech-led, rapidly growing business with a unique proposition in an old-fashioned market. In addition, you'll manage and grow this exciting new sales channel by forging new relationships and working alongside key partners.

The Role:

  • The role will play an integral part in the expansion of the business into the German – and subsequently, wider European market, developing new opportunities for the organisation and winning new business. It will contribute, develop, and lead the business strategy around sustainability and procurement.

  • Research organisations and identify new business opportunities to grow customer base.

  • Become a figurehead for the European sales team, working closely with the marketing team to develop PR and lead-generation strategies.

  • Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.

  • Build future sales by managing a pipeline of prospects through customer relationship building and market awareness.

  • Build relationships with customers and prospects, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these.

  • Identify new opportunities for sales campaigns and work with the Marketing team to execute them.

  • Attend events and conferences to build relationships and gain new leads.

  • Accurately forecast sales achievement and actively work towards achieving it, including logging all sales-related activity in the CRM, Hubspot.

  • We are looking for someone with a flair for bringing technology to life through engaging and inspiring customer solutions and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. You have a passion for understanding customer needs and creating compelling proposals that put the user at the centre of your approach.

  • We'd like you to use your experience and develop your existing skills in this role which should include these abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in a business development role in a Professional Services environment

  • Experience working with Hubspot is preferential, and an understanding of the core components of pipeline management is valuable

  • An understanding of the energy sector or client-facing experience is essential, as well as a passion for providing market-leading industry insight when it comes to upselling/cross-selling and business developing

  • Strong experience in developing and managing relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and the required components to promote and drive a successful opportunity
