Job Title: Head of Cost
Location: Nanjing, China
Salary: Competitive Salary DOE
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a leading solar energy supplier based in Nanjing, is seeking a Head of Cost to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the cost structure of the organization to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize the cost structure of the organization.
Lead the cost accounting function, ensuring that accurate and timely cost data is available to support decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify cost reduction opportunities and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Develop and maintain cost models to support pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cost management and recommend new solutions and technologies to improve cost management.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices, including activity-based costing and variance analysis.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the solar energy industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
