​Job Title: Healthe & Safety Manager (Renewables - Fund)

Job Description

Our client, a leading renewable energy fund, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety (H&S) Manager to join their team in the UK. As H&S Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all renewable energy projects within the fund are delivered to the highest health and safety standards, in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices for all renewable energy projects within the fund

• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations

• Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies for all renewable energy projects within the fund

• Developing and delivering health and safety training programs for project teams and contractors

• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence

• Maintaining accurate health and safety records and reporting health and safety performance to senior management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in health and safety, environmental science, or a related field

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in health and safety management, preferably in the renewable energy sector

• A strong understanding of UK health and safety regulations and best practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• A proven track record in delivering health and safety projects on time and to budget

• A passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to the transition to a low carbon economy
