The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to be working with a public sector energy consultancy business, focused on delivering their customer's net zero carbon targets.

The business is seeking a motivated Carbon Consultant with strategic & sales experience within energy management & carbon reduction.

Key responsibilities:

• Present energy management & carbon reduction services to customers

• Closing sales opportunities and meeting revenue targets

• Become product lead for energy management & carbon services

• Generate new business opportunities via cold calling & prospecting

• Collating and verifying customer energy data

• Liaising with third parties to ensure highly effective delivery of our services

• Work closely with the sales team ensuring energy management & carbon service opportunities are identified whilst also providing procurement leads to the sales team

• Work closely with energy & carbon administrator to ensure reports are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner

About you:

• Experience in providing consultancy type sales services

• Analysing large data sets and using calculations to conclude results and recommendations

• Experience of producing written reports, cohesively setting out results and findings.

• Experience of influencing strategic stakeholders

• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages

• First class written and verbal communication/presentation skills

• Able to undertake tasks to a high degree of accuracy

• Good organisational and prioritisation skills

• Able to work independently or as part of a team

• Versatility, creativity, innovation and problem solving

• Able to build rapport quickly and be influential within teams, with peers and customers
