Job title: Financial Modelling Analyst
Location: Paris, Île-de-France, France (On-site)
As a Financial Modelling Analyst specialising in renewables, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Green H2 and Power-to-X technologies across a macro-region. Your primary responsibilities will include constructing robust financial models to guide investment decisions during project development. This involves comprehensive tasks such as data collection, economic valuation, financial statements preparation, and accounting consolidation outputs.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll be supporting the Business Development team by running sensitivities for different scenarios in financial models. Additionally, you'll liaise with third-party financial advisors responsible for preparing models to secure debt or equity, ensuring consistency across various financial models.

Key Responsibilities:
Economic and financial modelling for Green H2 and Power-to-X technologies
Construction of financial models for investment decision-making
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and third-party advisors
Sensitivity analysis for different scenarios
Challenge forecasts and business models with an independent and critical view
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in economics or finance
A first relevant experience in financial modelling ideally in the renewables or infrastructure sector
Fluent in English & French, experience working in a multi-cultural environment
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills. Deep understanding and comfort with cash flows, IRR, NPV calculations, IFRS, tax
Proficiency in Excel and good scripting and programming skills (VBA is a plus)
Data-oriented personality
Collaborative and engaging team member
Good communicative skills, convincing and pragmatic.
Capable of advancing multiple work streams simultaneously, autonomy
