​I am working with a leading European IPP with a global presence and 20-year track record in the industry. With close to 3bn in funds raised and 40GW in the pipeline, they are leading the charge in the world of Solar and Battery storage. They are now seeking a Financial Controller based in Amsterdam/Utrecht to support the team and take responsibility for their entities in the Netherlands. The role is paying up to 75k EUR + bonus and this individual must be fluent in Dutch and English.

Job description

• Responsible for administration of Netherlands entities

• Responsibility for and posting of the general ledger as well as all sub-ledgers

• Coordination and preparation of the quarterly / annual financial statements

• Responsible for maintaining ERP system Business Central

• Support for the continuous optimisation of financial processes and further development of internal processes

• Contact person for all relevant questions from Group Accounting

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in Finance department

• Bachelors degree in accounting or similar

• Experience with ERP system, preferably MS Navision/Business Central

• Fluent in English and Dutch

Profile:

• Several years of sound professional experience in the field of finance in an international environment

• Good knowledge of Dutch GAAP

• Confident handling of accounting programmes (Navision advantageous) Structuring ability and experience in process orientation
