​​I am working on a new opportunity with a solar developer that owns and operates utility, C&I, and community-scale solar projects. They have projects across the country and have over 850 customers. The company also has a pipeline of over 100 MW that will continue to rapidly scale over the next few years.

This role provides a rare opportunity to work closely with the CFO across project development, financing, and M&A.

This role can be based in Pewaukee, WI or Chicago, IL.

The Role:

• Development and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects of varied sizes and complexities

• Support the project manager in defining and implementing the appropriate financial structure including identification and evaluation of optimal sources of finance

• Assist in strategic (corporate and project level) Key Performance Indicator (KPI) design, preparation, and reporting to a range of stakeholders

• Organization and review of due diligence work prepared by other advisors

• General market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company

• Active participation in a fast moving and entrepreneurial environment constantly identifying and capturing value for our stakeholders

The Individual:

• Bachelor (Masters preferred) degree in a numerically based discipline (Finance, Business Economics, Science, or Engineering) from an internationally renowned institution

• Excellent analytical skills including experience in Excel financial modeling

• Understanding of VBA, advanced commands, and other programming language capabilities preferred

• Renewable energy, taxation, or infrastructure experience is ideal

• Strong communication skills (both oral & written)

• A solid understanding of financial concepts and products with an inquisitive mind open to learn new things

• Thoroughness, organization, accuracy, and attention to detail

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to take initiative and responsibility for allocated tasks
