​Job Title: Finance Manager - Beijing Office

Location: Beijing, China

Industry: National Energy Utility

Our client, a national energy utility, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in the Beijing office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in the energy industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc reports as required.

  • Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions, and oversee all aspects of cash management and treasury.

  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.

  • Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with other departments to ensure that financial goals are aligned with company goals.

  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management, including the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and scenario analysis.

  • Manage and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

  • At least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in the energy industry.

  • Knowledge of financial accounting standards and principles, including IFRS and GAAP.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
