Job description

​I am working with one of the largest Sustainable Investment Managers across the UK and Europe, positioning themselves at the forefront of the energy transition. They have recently started some exciting projects across Germany, Spain and Ireland and with significant backing from a household name, there is huge opportunity for growth in this role.

The role is paying up to £85k + up to 40% bonus.

Location: London with hybrid working.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee the preparation of monthly finance reports (provided by outsourced FSPs)

  • Prepare the quarterly forecasting process

  • Work closely with SPV Asset managers on the preparation of annual budgets

  • Liaise with a range of stakeholders including external auditors, tax advisers, asset managers and SPV directors to ensure accurate and timely reporting

  • Support fundraising activities

  • Involvement with all corporate financing activities including forecasting, hedging and project finance

  • Actively contribute to system improvement and implementation

  • Provide guidance and support to mote junior members of the team


Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Capable of working independently but can also work effectively and collaboratively in a team

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders


Experience:

  • Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA) Accountant with 2+ years PQE

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets

  • Experience reporting at SPV level is desirable

  • Experience within a Fund Environment in Renewable Energy/Infrastructure

  • Any additional language skills are desirable
