​A growing clean energy investment platform backed by EnCap is expanding its team in Houston, Texas. The firm provides structured equity capital for U.S. renewable and energy transition projects and works closely with developers and sponsors to unlock the full value of tax credits and other incentives available under current U.S. energy policy.

As the platform continues to scale, we are hiring multiple team members across levels from Analyst through Director to support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of renewable energy investments.

Core Focus Areas

Team members will work on investments in utility-scale clean energy projects, including:

• Battery storage

• Solar (ITC and PTC structures)

• Wind

• Renewable natural gas and other energy transition assets

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate renewable energy project investment opportunities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for project finance and tax equity structures

• Analyze tax credit monetization strategies and capital structures

• Support transaction structuring, diligence, and execution

• Work directly with developers, sponsors, lenders, and advisors

• Assist in portfolio monitoring and investment analysis

Ideal Background

The most important experience for these roles is direct exposure to tax equity and project finance transactions.

Candidates may come from:

• Tax equity investing platforms

• Renewable project finance teams

• Energy investment banking

• Infrastructure or energy private equity

• Renewable project developers with strong finance experience

Preferred Experience

• Tax equity structures (partnership flip, sale-leaseback, inverted lease, transferability)

• Project finance modeling and transaction execution

• Renewable energy markets and project development lifecycle
