Job title: Finance Manager
Location: New York, United States (On-site)
TGRC is looking for a Finance Manager to join a highly regarded, global infrastructure and renewables business. The role sits within the services arm of the Americas and will focus on project and management accounting for one of its core renewable portfolio businesses.
In this role, you will be part of a world-class team of people, working closely with the Finance Director and VP. **The role will either be in the company's New York City or Chicago offices on a full-time to hybrid basis **
Responsibilities:
Project & management accounting responsibilities:
Work closely with external and internal stakeholders including the accounting, treasury, development, origination, and asset management teams to ensure effective design and maintenance of project budgets, forecasts, and actual reporting.
Manage monthly project reporting cycle, including preparing board progress reporting
Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with internal and project-level governance and contracts
Ad hoc analyses to support origination and asset management teams during the development and construction stages
Coordinate with accounting, business finance, tax and financial analysis teams to cover cash calls, financial statements, tax returns, and other critical deliverables for the investment platform and underlying projects
Participate in the implementation of new enterprise platforms and tools at the project level
Qualifications:
5-7 years of management accounting / FP&A experience working on large infrastructure projects
Experience in the renewable energy industry preferred
The business is open to individuals who have relevant experience in conventional energy who are motivated by a move to renewables
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
Organizational and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Project management certifications would be a plus but not required (e.g., PMI)
