Job description
Job title: Finance Accounting Manager
Location: Houston, Texas, United States (Hybrid)
We have a Finance Accounting Manager role with a new, exciting developer who focuses on clean-energy distribution solutions across solar, BESS & EV charging.
In this role, you will be part of a lean and agile team, working closely with the CFO and Financial Controller; providing a fantastic platform for career development and progression.
**The role will either be located in the company's Houston or New York City offices on a hybrid basis **
Responsibilities:
Financial & management accounting:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including the company’s financial accounts, budget, payroll, cash receipts and financial assets.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the monthly financial package. Assist controller with timely provision of financial statements, reports and budgets.
Additionally, ensure accurate and timely preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.
Furthermore, analyze financial data; providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with company goals and support key decision-making.
Regulatory control:
Prepare and submit required financial reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.
Additionally, ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Audit & assurance:
Furthermore, coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
Implement and maintain internal audit procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
CPA certification preferred.
Additionally, experience in the renewable energy sector preferred
Furthermore, a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
Lastly, proficiency in using Oracle NetSuite or other similar ERP accounting software.
