​We have a full-time Finance Accounting Manager role with an exciting developer who focuses on clean-energy distribution solutions across solar, BESS & EV charging.

In this role, you will be part of a lean and agile team, working closely with the CFO and Financial Controller; providing a fantastic platform for career development and progression.

**The role will either be located in the company's New York City or Houston offices on a hybrid basis **

Responsibilities:

Financial & management accounting:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including the company’s financial accounts, budget, payroll, cash receipts and financial assets.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the monthly financial package. Assist controller with timely provision of financial statements, reports and budgets.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.

• Analyze financial data; providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with company goals and support key decision-making.

Regulatory control:

• Prepare and submit required financial reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

Audit & assurance:

• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.

• Implement and maintain internal audit procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• CPA certification preferred.

• Experience in the renewable energy sector preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.

• Proficiency in using Oracle NetSuite or other similar ERP accounting software.
