  • Research new methods for front-of-meter optimisation.

  • Lead the design and implementation of micro-grid systems that enable R&D activities linked to ultra-fast charging and BESS development.

  • Develop energy models to understand the efficiencies of long duration energy storage systems.

  • Working with EV Charging & BESS divisions to provide technical expertise and identification of innovative business opportunities within Electrification and Mobility.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrical /Computer Science/ Energy Systems Engineer (Via Degree or similar)

  • At least 10 years’ experience working on charging or energy infrastructure technologies.

  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms in relation to energy storage optimisation.

  • Proven ability to develop and launch energy system models to optimise battery co-location with EV charging or renewable assets (solar/wind).

  • Strong software skills surrounding R, Python, MATLAB, C/C++.

  • Exposure to AWS cloud architecture.

  • Proven experience building and maintaining key strategic partnerships.

  • Ability to communicate with internal teams to develop technical strategies and business opportunities.

  • You thrive in open, innovative environments and have a determination to create sustainable solutions.
