Job description
The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a leading Cleantech investor, seeking an Energy Storage Project Manager.
The business to date has positioned itself front & centre of the renewable energy space, particularly in that of growing its global energy storage portfolio - with exciting growth opportunities, across the UK, US & Continental Europe.
This new Project Management role will lead the delivery of energy storage systems from acquisition through construction to commissioning & finally, operation.
The Energy Storage Project Manager will be responsible for:
Managing all engineering and construction aspects of the projects, from planning submission through to COD
Identify and monitor project risks and issues during the pre-construction and construction phase and support the development of mitigation strategies.
In addition, RFP preparation, EPC engagement and management
Furthermore, direct supplier engagement and procurement
Additionally, construction program planning, Project / critical path analysis etc
Effectively manage major project phase transitions including commencement and transition to operational including the EPC takeover process, as-built documentation, and closure of EPC contractual obligations.
Requirements:
5 Years of Project Management Experience, 2 Years of which minimum, specifically within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Additionally, come from a construction, IPP or owner-operator background
Bachelor's degree level education in Engineering discipline
In addition, highly self-motivated and organised and capable of working pro-actively alone
Lastly, be competent in preparing and running RFP processes for EPC and direct supplier
