Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Manage all electrical aspects of utility-scale solar projects, including installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
Supervision:
Lead a team of electricians and electrical apprentices, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest level of work quality and safety.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture within the team.
Schedule Management:Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Material Procurement:Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of materials required for electrical installations.
Problem Solving:Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction process, adjusting as necessary to keep the project on track.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate project records, including progress reports, equipment logs, and safety records.
Communication: Regularly communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and any potential issues.
Qualifications:
Electrical Journeyman Certification preferred
MUST have Utility Scale Solar Experience: Demonstrated experience in utility-scale solar projects, including design, installation, and maintenance
