Job title: Director/VP Project Finance
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States (On-site)
The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to partner with a leading solar IPP in their search for a Director or VP of Project Finance to lead the execution of their project financing strategies. Reporting directly to the C-Suite team, our client is looking for a candidate with experience leading and executing complex project finance transactions, including both debt and tax equity. Responsibilities:
Lead both debt and tax equity transactions - coordinate due diligence, documentation, and execution to close
Maintain and build relationships with third-party consultants, lawyers, and outside experts related to tax equity and debt financings.
Identify new financing strategies and opportunities.
Solicit and review prospective term sheets from tax equity investors and lenders, and propose solutions to senior management.
Review and design financial models, ensuring inputs are consistent with internal views and validated by third-party consultants
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required, Master's in Business or Accounting preferred
4+ years of renewables experience, with a successful track record in project finance (debt and tax equity), with an emphasis on leading complex transactions to close
Demonstrated track record of leading and closing financings, and an in-depth understanding of debt and tax equity structures
Understanding and ability to work with financial models and perform sensitivity analyses.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to a variety of external partners and internal parties (team, senior management, Board)
