Job description

  • Manage project budget, including development, monitoring expenses, and preparing reports for internal and funder purposes.

  • Oversee project implementation to meet goals, manage contracts and deliverables, and track activities to ensure on-time progress.

  • Lead preparation of periodic progress and grant reports for funders.

  • Develop high-quality fundraising proposals, coordinating with relevant teams.

  • Directly manage project team members, foster teamwork, provide guidance, and enhance team satisfaction.

  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and funders to advance climate and clean energy initiatives.

  • Stay informed on China’s energy trends and policy developments for effective stakeholder communication.

  • Support messaging and communications on energy transition issues through various advocacy channels.

  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience in energy transition, renewable energy, climate policy, or related fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of staff supervision experience.

  • 5+ years of international work experience or collaboration with international teams.

  • Strong knowledge of China's and international energy and climate issues.

  • Excellent bilingual (English and Chinese) communication and translation skills.
