Job description
Manage project budget, including development, monitoring expenses, and preparing reports for internal and funder purposes.
Oversee project implementation to meet goals, manage contracts and deliverables, and track activities to ensure on-time progress.
Lead preparation of periodic progress and grant reports for funders.
Develop high-quality fundraising proposals, coordinating with relevant teams.
Directly manage project team members, foster teamwork, provide guidance, and enhance team satisfaction.
Build and maintain relationships with partners and funders to advance climate and clean energy initiatives.
Stay informed on China’s energy trends and policy developments for effective stakeholder communication.
Support messaging and communications on energy transition issues through various advocacy channels.
Occasional domestic and international travel required.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in energy transition, renewable energy, climate policy, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of staff supervision experience.
5+ years of international work experience or collaboration with international teams.
Strong knowledge of China's and international energy and climate issues.
Excellent bilingual (English and Chinese) communication and translation skills.
