Summary:

An international renewable energy IPP, specialising in solar PV, onshore wind and battery storage are seeking a Senior Development Manager to join their established and growing development team in Melbourne. As Senior Development Manager, you will be responsible for a range of development activities from project initiation through to the construction of renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities will cover all aspects of development including identifying new development opportunities, securing land leases, stakeholder management and community engagement.

Your responsibilities:

• Identifying and developing renewable energy projects
• Developing, maintaining and promoting business cases for development projects
• Project managing all development activities
• Delivering assigned tasks on time, budget and to agreed quality
• Negotiating and securing property agreements with landowners
• Securing all third-party approvals
• Managing the grid connection process
• Maintaining communication with ll external stakeholders
• Preparing and presenting progress reports to senior management
• Managing community and stakeholder consultation on projects
• Coordinating technical elements of the due diligence process

Skills, qualifications and experience required from you:

• Relevant degree in relevant subject e.g. engineering, renewable energy, science etc
• Australian Renewable energy development experience
• Eligibility to live and work in Australia
• Knowledge of the renewable industry, policy and regulations
• Understanding of the wider development process
• Knowledge and experience in negotiating and securing land leases
• Driver’s license required
