Our client is a renewable energy supplier looking for a skilled and experienced Cost Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong. As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the costs associated with their renewable energy projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project cost estimates and budgets, and ensure that they align with project requirements and timelines.

• Monitor project expenditures and identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.

• Analyze project data and develop cost control strategies to optimize project performance.

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that cost management is integrated into project planning and execution.

• Prepare regular reports on project costs and budget performance.

• Participate in project reviews and provide recommendations to improve cost management practices.

• Develop and maintain cost management procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in cost engineering or related field.

• Experience working on renewable energy projects is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Project.

• Fluency in English and Cantonese.
