Summary :

A leading international Solar PV developer are seeking a Controls Engineer with a specialism in SCADA. You will be responsible in developing and configuring software to perform supervisory control, data acquisition, and advanced visualization of their current Solar PV portfolio across Australia. As Controls Engineer, you will also provide an interface for the company’s developers and engineers in the EPC and O&M teams for the company’s Solar PV SCADA monitoring system.

 

Your responsibilities: 

·        You will develop user interfaces on a variety of platforms for the Solar PV portfolio

·        Develop software and database applications to provide advanced data generation and visualization for performance, maintenance, and monitoring

·        Write interface applications which bridge information structures to the Solar PV systems

·        Engage with outsourced software development work

·        Adhere to good QA standards for software development

·        Facilitate transitions from the developers to the support group

·        Adhere to all safety and environmental procedures

·        Encourage creativity in developing new solutions

 

Experience required from you:

·        Experience with power utility scale SCADA development and design

·        Experience in Rockwell Compact logix

·        Experience with Wonderware InSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL Server

·        Understanding of industrial automation systems (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC, DNP etc).

·        Experience with data logger. (RedLion, Cambell Scientific, MOXA or equivalent)

·        Team experience in database architecture, and software development life cycles

·        Basic understanding of enterprise data systems

·        Development experience using .NET and C# technologies

·        Degree in Electrical Engineering, computer science, or related field
