Job description

​TGRC are delighted to be partnering with a Solar Greenfield Developer, where they have identified Italy as a key promising market to expand their business.

The business is seeking a Construction Project Manager - Photovoltaic & Storage plants in Italy.

Key responsibilities:

The Project Manager is the main person responsible for the technical implementation of a photovoltaic project.

  • Programing and managing the construction of photovoltaic power plants.

  • Coordinating all internal and external personnel involved in the realization of the plants.

  • Ensuring the quality of the implementation.

  • Ensuring that contractors respect their commitments.

  • Participating in the preparation and negotiation of contracts.

  • Supervising specific studies associated with construction (geotechnical, topographic, etc.).

  • Developing, analyzing and negotiating solutions for the electrical connection of production plants and ensure the follow-up of connection requests and purchase contracts.

  • Identifying the technical orientations to be taken in order to optimize the construction costs.

  • Improving project and construction monitoring methods.

  • Developing a portfolio of subcontractors, installers, suppliers, and experts and evaluate them regularly.

To succeed in the role:

  • Have a BAC+5 in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.

  • Have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position

  • You are able to carry out several missions at the same time.

  • The position requires a high level of rigor, organizational skills and a pro-active approach to the various issues that can improve the quality and profitability of the production.

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy teamwork.
