This role is ideal for a compliance professional with extensive experience in managing legal and risk frameworks within China’s energy sector, ensuring the organization meets regulatory and corporate governance standards.

About the Role

As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing compliance strategies that align with local and international regulations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring legal and operational risk management, safeguarding the company's assets and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance frameworks and risk management policies for energy projects.

• Ensure adherence to local and international legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.

• Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal investigations.

• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to mitigate compliance risks.

• Provide regulatory guidance on contracts, licenses, and business transactions.

• Maintain strong relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Extensive experience in compliance, legal, or risk management within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector in China.

• Strong understanding of Chinese regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and risk assessment.

• Proven ability to manage compliance programs, regulatory audits, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Fluent English language skills (business level) are essential.
