Job description

The Opportunity

A rare opportunity to join an international IPP who have offices in 10 countries worldwide.

 

The Role

  • Originate new greenfield opportunities related to PV projects, isolate or hybridize with batteries, wind or hydrogen

  • Give support on Business development activities within the PV sector in the UK to increase the country pipeline.

  • Foresee investment opportunities within the PV Renewable energy sector Greenfield/Brownfield in medium-term and long-term.

  • Interact & promote proactive relationships with players in the market (Investment funds, developers, promoters, Utilities, Other relevant Renewable Energy Players…etc)

  • Support management in negotiations, preparing investment reports for internal approval and project financing purposes, etc.

  • Conduct due diligence on all contract documents and risks to ensure projects meet financing and technical criteria.

  • Support and lead the processing of permits and licenses

  • Interlocution with Public Administration for the processing of permits, licenses and authorizations.

  • Understand and learn the commercial company policies and make the right fulfilment of commercial follow up internal procedures

 

The Person

  • 2 to 5 Years’ experience in Business development of Renewable Energy sector in UK (Must)

  • Good knowledge of local legislation and local actors of the PV sector is key.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise initiative

  • Desire to play a key role building an innovative clean energy company

  • Availability to travel nationally frequently.
