Business Development Manager (CCUS) - National-Wide

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to partner exclusively with a global leader at the forefront of the energy transition. Our client is seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead their CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) and energy transition initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of sustainable energy and make a significant impact on a global scale.

As the Business Development Manager, you'll utilise your entrepreneurial business development experience to develop transactional agreements & nurturing their existing partnerships.

Reporting to Group Head, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify, initiate, and foster new business opportunities, focusing on CCS and other energy transition-related projects

  • Develop and manage commercial opportunities through the pipeline, leading to investment appraisal and decision-making.

  • Propel the development and execution of the company's CCS and CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilisation) strategy.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements and collaborate with the legal team to draft, negotiate, and execute contracts

  • Craft and communicate a comprehensive value proposition for the CCS and CCU value chain.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in building business cases and internal communication (e.g., Discounted Cash Flow, NPV, IRR).

  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • 5 years of experience in CCUS or related fields within a commercial/sales/customer service environment.
