The Renewable Energy Software Start-up are looking to continue to grow extensively this year and as part of their plan, are looking for a Business Development Manager- who will be critical in introducing new investors and renewable asset owners to our client’s innovative platform.

This Individual will be joining the existing Milton Keynes-based team, who work using a modern 4-day working week model.

The Role:

  • Identify and grow a network of asset owners and investors primarily across EMEA

  • Create sales strategies and collaboratively input on the business development plan

  • Manage existing relationships as well as developing new ones

  • Support the onboarding process on new partners joining the platform

  • Develop commercial solutions related to M&A processes

  • Manage and negotiate B2B contracts

  • Actively contribute to the internal CRM system

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and BD

  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Development Manager

  • Knowledge, interest, and experience working within the renewables sphere (ideally solar)

  • Strong commercial experience

  • Experienced and well-versed in the process of M&A deals

  • Self-starter and driven to go above and beyond

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and individually

  • Ability to build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Presentation skills

  • Competent using CRMs and the Microsoft suite
