Business Development Manager

​We’re looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to help lead Pase Environmental’s growth efforts. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, deepening client relationships, supporting successful project execution, and driving cross-selling across our portfolio companies. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a proven ability to convert relationships into results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the Full Sales Cycle: Prospect, qualify, and close new business—own the end-to-end process with CRM oversight.

  • Manage Territory Growth: Build and maintain a sales pipeline; track performance metrics and drive market share increases.

  • Work across portfolio companies to identify and lead cross-selling opportunities

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Serve as a trusted partner to general contractors, developers, and municipal officials.

  • Engage Public-Sector Clients: Develop relationships with municipalities, utilities, DOTs, and other public-sector entities.

  • Support Technical Teams: Review plans/specs with estimating and operations to ensure proposals align with scope and compliance.

  • Represent Pase: Attend networking events, industry conferences, and site meetings to build visibility and brand presence.

  • Collaborate on Proposals: Work with estimating and project teams to create tailored scopes, pricing strategies, and bid packages.

Required:

  • 5+ years in business development, sales, or project management within construction, environmental services, or civil infrastructure.

  • Proven track record of closing deals and retaining long-term clients.

  • Understanding of erosion control, SWPPP, and/or stormwater compliance regulations.

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking and managing leads.

  • Familiarity with public-sector contracting and bidding.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness to travel within Colorado and surrounding regions.

Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Existing network of industry contacts—GCs, developers, public officials.

  • Experience contributing to proposals involving DOT, public works, or municipal projects.

  • Involvement in industry associations or local trade groups.
