A leading energy technology company delivering grid planning, analytics, and energy efficiency solutions to utilities is expanding its operations across Europe. The company has an established presence in the US and India and is now looking to grow its European footprint.
Role Overview:
The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving growth across Europe. The role is fully remote and involves building and managing relationships with utilities, energy retailers, and grid operators. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the VP and the existing European team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies across all European markets.
Manage and grow relationships with key utility and energy clients.
Lead business development initiatives for the company’s full product portfolio.
Support the development of the European team, with potential to grow into a regional leadership role.
Requirements:
Proven experience in software sales or business development within the energy, utilities, or related technology sectors.
Strong understanding of utility operations, energy efficiency, or grid management solutions.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, start-up environment.
