Job description

Accountability/Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide provision in creating PQQ, ITT, RFP, RFQ, RFI, and other Bid documentation
  • Assist the Bid Manager in planning and upholding a schedule and pipeline of Bid activity and sharing with relevant stakeholders
  • Attend important internal meetings to deliver administrative support to the Bid Manager
  • Organise input from subject matter experts (marketing, sales, risk management, finance, legal, commercial, product, and delivery), combining all sections into the required tender format
  • Generate, preserve, manage, and share Bid-related documentation and templates, ensuring they meet formatting, branding, and quality standards
  • Carry out competitor analysis and sector research to improve market expertice and appreciate client requirements
  • Attain feedback from Bid scenarios
  • Deliver input to proposal improvement process through proofreading and providing feedback to content owners on structure and content, concision and flow, and language and grammar.
  • Managing proposal software
  • Assist the Bid Manager and Marketing Communications with Bid submissions, including gaining Bid information and submitting responses to online portals
  • Any ad hoc support linking to Bid production matters

 

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in administration within a Bid Management/Sales team 
  • Use of online procurement/Bid portals for gaining and submitting Bid information, and CRM systems 
  • Brilliant Microsoft Office skills 
  • Good organisational skills 
  • A proactive approach with willingness to help others within the team and the wider business 
  • Experience working independently in a self-managed environment 
  • Energy procurement/sector experience – Highly Desirable
