Job description

Accountability/Key Responsibilities:
- Provide provision in creating PQQ, ITT, RFP, RFQ, RFI, and other Bid documentation
- Assist the Bid Manager in planning and upholding a schedule and pipeline of Bid activity and sharing with relevant stakeholders
- Attend important internal meetings to deliver administrative support to the Bid Manager
- Organise input from subject matter experts (marketing, sales, risk management, finance, legal, commercial, product, and delivery), combining all sections into the required tender format
- Generate, preserve, manage, and share Bid-related documentation and templates, ensuring they meet formatting, branding, and quality standards
- Carry out competitor analysis and sector research to improve market expertice and appreciate client requirements
- Attain feedback from Bid scenarios
- Deliver input to proposal improvement process through proofreading and providing feedback to content owners on structure and content, concision and flow, and language and grammar.
- Managing proposal software
- Assist the Bid Manager and Marketing Communications with Bid submissions, including gaining Bid information and submitting responses to online portals
- Any ad hoc support linking to Bid production matters
Key Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in administration within a Bid Management/Sales team
- Use of online procurement/Bid portals for gaining and submitting Bid information, and CRM systems
- Brilliant Microsoft Office skills
- Good organisational skills
- A proactive approach with willingness to help others within the team and the wider business
- Experience working independently in a self-managed environment
- Energy procurement/sector experience – Highly Desirable
