Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company are currently working with a global IPP who are looking for an Assistant PM to join their Dublin office. The business have a 6GW pipeline across 8 different global offices. The business are paying a basic salary + bonus + LTIP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the project management team in the development of large multi-contract Onshore Wind, SolarPV and Battery Storage renewable energy projects from green-field sites through to commercial operation.

  • Supporting the tender/negotiation process for the procurement of professional services, equipment supply and works contracts required for project delivery.

  • Supporting the Land Management Team in the implementation, acquisition, and control of project development, design and construction for renewable energy projects.

  • Supporting the legal department in ensuring document assurance, particularly for land agreements.

  • Manage and coordinate project engagement with project’s stakeholders, organising project messaging and in-person consultation events, regular communication with community stakeholders and the wider design team.

  • Liaise with Transmission System Operator/ Distribution System Operator (TSO/DSO) with regard to the grid connection process.

  • Liaise with both statutory and non-statutory consultees in order to develop best in class renewable projects.

  • Support the Programming department and manage subcontractor programmes to ensure project works are progressed on schedule, project milestones are achieved and critical wider industry milestones are met.

  • Implement industry best practice in project controls, project reporting and performance management.

  • Coordinating project reporting and data presentation for senior management.

  • Robust management of each project’s suite of PMO documents and process’ including individual project schedules, budgets, reporting as well as stakeholder and risk registers. Assist the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and to the requisite quality standards while remaining in line with wider business metrics.

The basis requirements for this role are;

  • A min or 1-2 years project management experience in a renewable energy related role in an Irish context.

  • A related Engineering/Construction/Environmental or Planning qualification is desirable.

  • You MUST be degree qualified

  • Ideally you will have experience with subcontractor management in the progression of environmental Impact Assessment Reports and planning submissions.

  • A self-starter and the ability to manage multiple project tasks at any given time.

  • Experience with GIS/shapefiles and/Auto Cad is desirable.

  • Attendance at offices for scheduled office days.
