The Opportunity 

Exciting opportunity within a well established and fast growing Energy and Infrastructure Investment company looking to grow their Asset Management function. The company operate a portfolio of solar, wind and gas peaking assets with a combined value of £1billion.

The Asset Management department are seeking to grow their technical team, and are looking for an asset engineer to run their day-to-day operations, renewable energy portfolio with a key focus on onshore wind and gas peaking.  

The Role

  • Managing and having oversight of technical issues across the portfolio, ensuring that output is maximised while maintaining commercial discipline
  • Managing service providers including, but not limited to, site operators, EPCs, manufacturers, external asset managers
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the Investment Team on asset acquisitions
  • Driving ongoing optimisation strategy to enhance long term performance and returns
  • Ensuring complete and accurate record keeping, satisfactory completion of contract milestones; resolving insurance claims, pursuing warranty claims and similar
  • Acting as first point of contact with the O&M providers and monitoring and managing O&M performance
  • Managing grid outages by liaising closely with the grid and distribution network operators 
  • Ensuring EPC compliance and completing contractual milestones and standards
