Wind and Site Engineer (m/f/d), Renewable Energy
Reporting to the Head of Wind Department.
Responsibilities:
Assist local teams in the company's markets in the development, execution, and technical management of wind farm projects.
Conduct and evaluate third-party assessments including energy yield evaluations, soil studies, and other essential technical analyses for project advancement.
Evaluate wind farm layouts, Bill of Quantities, and preliminary civil and electrical designs.
Oversee and evaluate the comprehensive wind measurement program, collaborating closely with wind and energy yield assessment experts.
Prepare monthly reports on meteorological mast data.
Participate in procurement processes including turbine generator tendering and other crucial component procurements, as well as drafting Requests for Proposals and analyzing bids.
Travel to project sites as required, offering onsite technical support throughout various project phases.
Provide technical insights and cost projections to the Financial Department for financial modeling.
Support the Financial Department in technical aspects of Due Diligences conducted by external Financial Institutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, ecological engineering).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wind energy sector.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, WindPRO, WASP, CFD modeling, and basic CAD software.
Language proficiency: Native-level English, additional language skills appreciated.
