Our client, a Beijing-based Private Equity (PE) Fund specializing in renewable energy investments, is seeking a talented and driven Vice President (VP) of Investment to join their dynamic team. As the VP of Investment, you will play a critical role in driving investment strategies and maximizing returns in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities in the renewable energy industry.

• Conduct in-depth market research and due diligence to assess the viability and potential of investment targets.

• Develop and present investment proposals, financial models, and investment recommendations to the executive team and investment committee.

• Negotiate deal terms, contracts, and agreements with potential investees, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.

• Monitor and manage the performance of existing portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and support as needed.

• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to identify new investment opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including project developers, government agencies, and financial institutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal, finance, and operations, to support the successful execution of investment transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CFA or MBA is a plus.

• Proven experience (10 years) in investment management, private equity, or venture capital, with a focus on renewable energy.

• Deep knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, energy storage, or other clean energy technologies.

• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills.

• Excellent negotiation and deal structuring abilities.

• Demonstrated track record of successful investments and portfolio management.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
