Vårgrønn is a fast-growing European offshore wind developer with a clear mission: to drive the energy transition through high-impact offshore wind projects. Established as a joint venture between Plenitude (Eni) and HitecVision, we operate across the UK, Germany, Norway, and Ireland, with projects spanning both bottom-fixed and floating technologies.

We hold stakes in some of the most ambitious offshore wind projects in Europe, including a 20% share in the world’s largest wind farm under construction (Dogger Bank), a 50% interest in Green Volt and Cenos in Scotland, and a 500 MW pipeline in Norway through a collaboration with Equinor. Our goal is to have multiple GW in operation or under construction by 2030, and to shape the future of sustainable energy in Northern Europe.

The Opportunity

As Green Volt enters full execution mode, we are looking for a seasoned and strategic VP Project Execution to help ensure project success and build best-in-class delivery capabilities across Vårgrønn.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the SVP Projects & Supply Chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

Execution & Governance

• Lead execution strategy across Green Volt, aligned with JV agreements, PSC bligations and Board expectations

• Oversee delivery across procurement, construction, commissioning, schedule, risk and supply chain

• Drive simplification, innovation and value optimisation in project execution

• Act as senior counterpart to the Project Director, enabling quality decision-making and project resilience

JV Leadership & Partner Management

• Represent Vårgrønn in the Green Volt JV: safeguarding interests, promoting transparency, and providing constructive challenge

• Oversee supplier engagement, contracting strategy and fabrication follow-up across an international supply chain

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead secondments and internal staffing for Green Volt, ensuring the right capabilities are deployed at the right time

• Support and mentor Vårgrønn employees in or adjacent to the JV, fostering psychological safety and strong team culture

• Embed learnings from Green Volt into Vårgrønn’s future execution models and governance frameworks

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a senior leader with:

• 10+ years’ offshore wind experience, including large-scale EPC/EPCI delivery across multiple geographies

• A track record in risk management, project performance, and value engineering

• Strong leadership in JV environments, with experience aligning diverse partners and execution models

• Hands-on experience managing complex international supply chains and contracting strategies

• Excellent people leadership: mentoring, communication, and collaborative problem-solving

• High integrity and sound judgement in senior stakeholder environments

• Experience with UK offshore wind projects is an advantage
