Job description
The Green Recruitment Company are pleased to be partnered with a leading global renewables developer, to identify a talented Solar Operations and Maintenance Specialist, to be a part of a growing technical team responsible for several in operation utility-scale renewables assets.
The client we have partnered with has over 4GW of renewables assets built and in operation across Europe and the Americas. With a strong presence in Australia as well as significant capital backing from the world's largest infrastructure funds their commitment to develop and build renewables assets is unrivalled.
Main responsibilities:
Manage relationships with Utilities, EPC contractors, O&M company, insurance companies, Asset Management companies, Officials Entities involved in projects (Health & Safety, Environment Agency, Electrical Agency, …) in Australia. Participate in the commissioning of the plants.
Supervise and track the progress and check the result of onsite work related to the Operation and Maintenance of solar plants.
Check each plant operation status by remote and report incidents. Attend the O&M monthly meeting.
Control that the specification of material and works are in line with the requirement of the project.
Weekly and Monthly reports.
Requirements:
Degree or background in engineering (renewable, mechanical, electrical, etc.).
2+ years experience in technical design or O&M of solar PV plants
Highly analytical and keen problem solver
Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude and the desire to work in a fast paced, rapidly growing, company and sector
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships across various business units and with key external partners
Comfortable with entire MS suite – with a good knowledge of the MS Suite and SCADA systems
