Job description

​This is a unique opportunity to play a fundamental role in managing project design for utility-scale transmission projects, and the late-stage development of projects in the detailed design phase. This is a remote opportunity where you will be reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities include:

  • You will lead design activities for major transmission line projects by collaborating with internal resources, managing external engineering consultants, and interfacing with various stakeholders.

  • Reviewing detailed design submittals, ensuring compliance with technical standards and permitting requirements.

  • Manage transmission structure engineering, testing, investigations, and designs.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or environmental)

Experience:

  • 3+ years managing transmission line engineering design.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships.

Software Proficiency:

  • Proficiency with ArcGIS (preferred), and PLS-CADD (preferred).
