Job description
This is a unique opportunity to play a fundamental role in managing project design for utility-scale transmission projects, and the late-stage development of projects in the detailed design phase. This is a remote opportunity where you will be reporting to the VP of Engineering.
Responsibilities include:
You will lead design activities for major transmission line projects by collaborating with internal resources, managing external engineering consultants, and interfacing with various stakeholders.
Reviewing detailed design submittals, ensuring compliance with technical standards and permitting requirements.
Manage transmission structure engineering, testing, investigations, and designs.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or environmental)
Experience:
3+ years managing transmission line engineering design.
Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency with ArcGIS (preferred), and PLS-CADD (preferred).
