Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Technical Solar or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Consultant to join their dynamic team based in Thailand. As a Technical Solar and BESS Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients within the renewable energy sector, specifically in the solar and battery energy storage domains. Leveraging your expertise, you will provide technical insights, consultancy, and guidance to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient implementation of solar and BESS projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their renewable energy goals and project requirements in the solar and battery energy storage sectors.

• Conduct thorough assessments of solar and BESS projects, evaluating designs, technologies, and components to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

• Offer expert advice on the integration of solar panels and battery energy storage systems with electrical grids, ensuring grid stability and optimal energy management.

• Analyse system performance data to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvements in solar and BESS installations.

• Provide technical recommendations for equipment selection, installation procedures, maintenance practices, and safety protocols for solar and BESS projects.

• Develop comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and presentations that communicate assessment findings, recommendations, and solutions effectively to clients.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in solar and BESS, and apply this knowledge to enhance consulting services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer holistic solutions that align with clients' sustainability and business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience working with solar photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.

• Deep understanding of relevant international standards, codes, and regulations governing solar and BESS projects.

• Proficiency in simulation tools and software used for analysing solar and BESS system performance.

• Strong analytical skills to assess technical data, identify trends, and propose actionable recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address technical challenges creatively and efficiently.

• Previous consulting experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to engage with clients, manage projects, and deliver valuable insights.

• Fluency in English
