Job description

​We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ESG reporting and a strong background in advising financial institutions on sustainability initiatives. This role involves working directly with clients to enhance their ESG performance, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop strategies that drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ESG Reporting:

    Lead and manage the preparation, analysis, and verification of ESG reports in accordance with global standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).

  • Client Advisory:

    Provide expert advice on ESG strategies, reporting requirements, and best practices to financial institutions, including banks, investment firms, and insurance companies.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure clients meet relevant regulations and guidelines related to ESG disclosures and sustainability practices.

  • Data Analysis:

    Analyze ESG data and metrics to assess client performance, identify gaps, and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Strategy Development:

    Collaborate with clients to develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with their business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

  • Training and Workshops:

    Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients on ESG reporting, sustainability trends, and regulatory changes.

  • Market Research:

    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in ESG reporting and sustainability within the financial sector.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA ESG Certification) is preferred.

  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or a related field, with a strong focus on the financial sector.

  • Skills:

  • Expertise in ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).

  • Proven ability to interpret and analyze ESG data and metrics.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry trends in ESG.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

  • Proficiency in sustainability software and tools (e.g., SAP, Enablon, or similar platforms).
