The Client:

Join an exciting company driving the UK’s sustainability consultancy sector. Offering services on three divisions; ESG, Utilities and Waste, your primary focus will be writing ESG impact reports, advising on ESG targets and providing recommendations to achieve these. You will consult with the board and senior management of new and existing clients to help them to understand and document Environmental, Social and Governance areas at their company and map their journey to Net Zero.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Deliver annual ESG Impact Report’s and score client’s ESG performance
• Provide recommendations for targeted actions to achieve Net Zero and other ESG goals
• Net Zero baseline calculations and carbon reduction plans
• Social Value gap analysis and reporting
• Build strong trusted relationships with the client’s board and senior management team as a sustainability consultant

Your Profile:

• A proven track record in writing reports/articles to deadlines - this could be in a different field to ESG
• A university degree qualification with minimum 5 years work experience post university
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Experienced within some areas of ESG, you will not be required to be an industry expert
• Take pride in ensuring all work is accurate and client delivery is of a high standard
• Passionate about ESG and Net Zero
• Knowledgeable on carbon footprinting and Net Zero
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Live within 1 hour of our Hersham Surrey office - Hersham train station is a 10-minute walk from the office and a 35 min train journey from Waterloo
