Job description
As a key member of the supply chain team, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain, you will oversee supplier management, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, and lead-time objectives. This role requires close collaboration with various departments and a proactive approach to supplier development, including potential involvement with sub-tier suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials, including wafers, silver paste, chemicals, and gases, to meet annual key performance metrics. This involves building and maintaining a robust supplier base.
Lead cross-functional teams, comprising R&D, New Product Introduction (NPI), Quality, and Procurement Operations, to establish and qualify global suppliers in accordance with energy sector standards. Ensure the continuity of supply while maintaining quality.
Manage strategic relationships with suppliers, including conducting complex contract negotiations.
Analyze internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to enhance products, processes, and services.
Assume full responsibility for assigned suppliers, driving them to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, potentially involving engagement with sub-tier suppliers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 4 years of experience in vendor management or procurement/supply chain.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin
Background in the solar industry is highly desirable.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and strong analytical abilities, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
Exceptional attention to detail, process-oriented, and excellent time management skills.
Self-driven, proactive, and efficient in managing tasks and responsibilities.
