Strategic Account Manager

The Client:

Join one of the UK’s leading energy consultancy firms, providing energy optimisation and carbon reduction services to some the world’s largest organisations. In this role you’ll be partnering with clients, overseeing the strategic client relationship and taking ownership of the client experience. You’ll use your excellent client management skills and extensive knowledge of the energy industry to build, develop and retain long-term key clients.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders

  • Proposing commercially beneficial solutions that meet the client’s business objectives and changing utility and energy demands through contract renewals, up and cross selling

  • Drive product development and innovation

  • Ensuring the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner and with first class service

  • Expand the relationships with existing customers engaging through all possible forms of contact, from meetings to weekly calls

 

Your Profile:

  • Proven strategic account management success within the energy industry, preferably within a consultancy context

  • Exceptional ability to generate new leads

  • Full UK driving license is required as national travel is a key part of the role

  • Excellent report generation skills

  • Extensive industry network connections of potential clients and collaborators
