Job description

Experienced, award-winning commercial solar energy contractor specializing in the design, procurement, and construction of rooftop, carport, and ground mounted renewable energy solutions for clients in high-wind zone areas like Florida and the Caribbean. With over 200+ megawatts installed and a healthy pipeline, The Solar Service Technician travels throughout the state of Florida and from site to site to commission, service, troubleshoot, and repair Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Photovoltaic (PV) systems.

 

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in the solar industry
  • 2+ years’ experience of PV System installation, operations & maintenance (O&M),
  • Experience in the solar service and/or maintenance industry
  • NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certificate (Preferred)
  • Inverter training experience
  • Experience with IV Curve tracer, IR camera, SunEye or equivalent shade analyzer
  • Experience with document management software
  • OSHA 30 for Construction Certificate (Preferred)
  • Formal training certificate or degree in electrical field (Preferred)
  • Trade experience in electrical, general construction, and or solar
