​What You'll Do

• Field safety operational engagement is 85% of day.

• Demonstrates safety as a core value and establishes a safe work environment by actively leading personnel to an understanding of risk management.

• Implements safety directives/initiatives from safety management team.

• Implements, supervises, coaches and mentors the JSA process.

• Ensures all inspections are conducted and proper record keeping is maintained onsite.

• Coordinates with teams to schedule/conduct required safety audits and walks.

• Responsible for required site safety record keeping of documents.

• Ensures all required safety meetings are conducted.

• Intervenes in the case of unsafe activities or operations and coach teams to solutions.

• Ensure action items are completed by deliverable date assigned by manager.

• Supports the Site Safety Manager in the incident investigation process.

• Facilitates the safety orientation and the site-specific orientation.

Must-Haves

• 1+ years of experience in construction safety.

• Have an OSHA 30

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the workforce.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience leading one on one and group training.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• 3 years on a Utility Scale Solar Site
