​Job Title: Solar PV EPC Site Manager

Location: West Midlands, UK

Contract: 6-month contract with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: £400 per day

Our client, a leading Solar PV EPC in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of solar PV projects and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction and installation of solar PV projects and ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and project specifications

• Manage and coordinate the activities of construction and installation teams, including contractors and subcontractors

• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure deadlines are met

• Ensure that project costs are managed within budget and identify areas where cost savings can be made

• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities as required

• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including project management, clients, and contractors

• Ensure that all project documentation is maintained and up-to-date

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in solar PV construction or a related field

• Strong knowledge of solar PV construction and installation techniques, procedures, and safety practices

• Experience managing construction and installation teams, including contractors and subcontractors

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Fluent in English
