​Solar Project Development Lead Associate

Location: Edinburgh (hybrid)

Salary: DOE

TGRC is working with a leading renewable energy company. The company is looking for an experienced developer to work alongside the Head of Solar Development to help expand their footprint in the United Kingdom. This position will focus on solar development as well the development of storage and co-located assets.

The purpose of the role will be to lead a range of activities from site selection and evaluation to project design and optimization to deliver competent planning applications, leading teams of external consultants, and ultimately delivering up to the pre-construction phase.

Requirements: 

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in solar project development

• University graduate with relevant experience and skills

• Previous renewable development experience

• Understanding of the economics of renewable energy generation

• Delivery of projects at various stages of development from site evaluation to pre-construction

• Experience of the UK Planning system

• Fluent English language skills.

• Some travel required for site visits and stakeholder meetings, though most of the work will be desk-based
