Position: Solar Development Engineer

 

Location: Remote, or in Boston or Houston office. MUST be within Eastern or Central time zones if remote.

 

TGRC is joining a world class developer of renewable energy in their search for a Solar Development Engineer. This independent power producer specializes in development and management of power generation and related infrastructure projects. They have produced a total of 23 million megawatt hours of clean energy to date.

 

Exhibiting core competencies in development, financial structuring, and asset management, this IPP connects the world's largest strategic and institutional investors with opportunities that have high barriers of entry.

 

This IPP manages a portfolio of wind, solar, and natural gas projects across Europe and North America.

 

This role would focus on all technical aspects of utility scale solar project development (including energy storage) and execution, including management of technical consultants, procurement, construction and operations contract development, financial model technical inputs, permitting support, local utility and roadwork coordination, and all other relevant activities.

-- Site selection and feasibility support

-- Technology assessments

-- Development of plant performance estimates

-- Interconnection process

-- Infrastructure requirement evaluations

-- Development of site drawings

-- Permit support

-- Technical contract development and negotiations

-- Management of consultants

-- Project finance

-- Acquisition due diligence

 

What You Will Need

-- Minimum of three years experience with the development and design of large scale solar projects

-- B.S. in engineering from an accredited institution
